OurSolar is a new community solar program from Darke Rural Electric Cooperative that allows members to purchase subscriptions to solar panels at our brand-new solar array. You can subscribe to up to 10 panels, and the energy produced by those panels will be calculated into your monthly bill.
OurSolar represents Darke REC’s balanced approach to energy production and support for economically-viable sources of renewable energy. And it provides members with an easy way to include renewable energy in their overall mix.
OurSolar costs an average of $1 per panel, per month, built right into your bill. This is an additional charge on your monthly bill. Doesn’t get much more affordable than that.
